Jetpack WMS

A warehouse that shows its work.

Most 3PLs treat the warehouse as their business and the tracking number as yours. Jetpack works differently. Every warehouse in our network runs on Jetpack WMS, and your dashboard reads from the same platform the floor runs on. Receiving, putaway, pick, pack, sortation: you see each step as it happens. The most automated and accurate platform in fulfillment, working where accuracy is made.

The Jetpack WMS orders view: every order in fulfillment with a live status, from Awaiting Pick to Labelled, alongside its sales channel and customer

Willing to roll up their sleeves and solve problems… that flexibility and willingness to dig in is helpful as an operator.

Live Order & Inventory Tracking

Never be the last to know again.

Most 3PLs leave you finding out from an angry customer email. At Jetpack, every order carries a timestamped event history from receiving scan to carrier handoff, so ‘where is it?’ is already answered, whenever you need to know.

A Jetpack WMS order timeline expanded: a shipment's full event history, from out for delivery back through traveling to the depot, picked up by carrier, sorted, in transit to the sort center, and tracking uploaded to the store, each stamped with date and time
From Receiving to Sortation

Nothing sits unnoticed between steps.

Fulfillment is a relay. Jetpack WMS runs every leg, receiving, putaway, picking, packing, sortation, and clocks every handoff, so nothing sits unnoticed between steps.

Receiving and putaway

Your shipment is scanned in on arrival, inspected box by box, and counted against the receiving order you created. Discrepancies are logged and flagged, never guessed into stock. Most shipments are received, put away, and ready to ship within about two business days, with your inventory counts refreshing in real time as units hit the shelf.

Pick and pack

99.95% pick accuracy across the network

Pickers work from exact item, quantity, and location instructions, and each order runs through the pick method that fits it: batch for volume, cluster for mixed runs, single-order for the one-offs. Before anything is sealed, packers verify the contents against the order. Tricky pack-outs get prescriptive visual instructions, down to a GIF of the exact sequence.

Inventory management

Real-time inventory counts

Every SKU is tracked live by status: sellable, on hand, committed, incoming, and held. The numbers refresh as our warehouse team scans, picks, and packs, so what you see is what is actually on the shelf. It all syncs back to your store in real-time, protecting you against overselling and helping you make key replenishment decisions.

Returns

Up to 3 inspection steps per return

A return is tracked in Jetpack WMS from the day it is triggered by a carrier or a customer. Follow along until it has arrived, and watch as it is inspected, processed, and either restocked or held. Sellable units flow back into your available inventory, and we can quarantine or dispose of the rest at your request.

Label and sortation

99.8% on-time ship rate

Packed orders are labeled and sorted to the carriers right before your eyes, with complete transparency around performance. Your dashboard charts your fulfillment SLA success rate, so if a particular warehouse in your network is falling behind the rest, we can identify and address the issue rapidly.

Checked at every step

How 99.95% pick accuracy actually happens.

A single mispick can become a refund, a reship, or a one-star review for something completely out of your control. Here’s how Jetpack catches inventory issues on the floor, not at your customer’s door.

Dock

Receiving scan

Every inbound box is scanned, inspected, and counted against your order before putaway. Mismatches are held for your call, not guessed into stock.

Cycle counts

Rolling recounts while inventory sits, every adjustment auditable. The count on your screen matches the count on the shelf.

Photo checks

Your product images travel with the workflow at receiving, picking, and packing. This prevents lookalike SKUs from getting mixed up at any stage.

Growing into a new region usually means signing a second 3PL, integrating another platform, and training your team twice. With Jetpack you flip it on inside the dashboard you already use, and your whole setup is already there. It just works.

The Basics

What is a 3PL warehouse management system?

What it is

A warehouse management system is the software a fulfillment floor runs on. It directs where inbound stock gets stored, sequences pick routes, enforces packing checks, and records every unit’s location and status from the receiving dock to the carrier truck. Every serious operation has one, and its quality sets the ceiling on how fast and how accurately anything ships.

Why it goes invisible when you outsource

Run your own warehouse and the WMS answers to you. Outsource, and at most 3PLs it answers only to them: you get the summary they choose to share, on the schedule they choose to share it. Mispicks surface as customer complaints instead of caught exceptions, and a simple question like “did my inventory get received?” turns into an email thread.

How Jetpack does it

Jetpack WMS runs every warehouse in our network, and it is client-facing by design. The statuses, counts, and timings it records on the floor feed your dashboard and reports directly: live order stages, inventory by warehouse, receiving progress, fulfillment speed by facility. You hand off the work without handing off the visibility, and the same data trail backs every number we report.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Yes. Jetpack handles D2C, B2B wholesale, Amazon FBA and FBM prep, and retail distribution for 150+ retailers (Walmart, Target, Costco, Ulta, Nordstrom, Sephora, Best Buy, Macy's, REI, and more). B2B orders support EDI via SPS Commerce, pick-by-lot, GS1 labeling with SSCC codes, retail-compliant palletizing, and automated routing. FBA prep handles both small parcel and LTL freight with automated shipment creation. All channels run at 99.95% accuracy.

Yes, fully automated. Lot-tracked products are stored separately by batch, and the system ships nearest-expiration inventory first via FIFO, so customers always get the freshest product without manual oversight. Set minimum shelf life days per SKU; units below that threshold are auto-excluded from fulfillment, so no expired product reaches a customer. Full recall readiness: trace exactly which orders received a specific batch and from which fulfillment center. Returns on lot-tracked products route to quarantine or disposal rather than restock, protecting active inventory.

Either works. Some brands start in one warehouse and add hubs as their order distribution shows demand in other regions. Others start in two or three hubs from day one because their volume already justifies the freight economics. Same software, same carriers, same support team, whether you're in one warehouse or eight. On a quote call we'll look at your customer geography and order volume and recommend the right starting footprint.

Jetpack partners with ecommerce brands shipping 1,000+ orders per month, large enough to benefit from multi-hub distribution, still at the growth stage where hands-on support matters most. Onboarding takes 1-2 weeks with about 4-6 hours of your time: a dedicated team connects your sales channels, configures your SKU catalog, sets shipping preferences, and positions inventory via MultiHub IQ from your historical order data. We teach you the tools, not just deliver outcomes. Switching from another 3PL? For a limited time, we're waiving receiving fees on your initial inventory transfer, and we run a structured migration: as fast as one week for D2C, four to six weeks for B2B with EDI and retail compliance cutovers. No long-term contracts; your inventory is yours to move whenever.

Jetpack WMS is the platform you use to manage your inventory and run your orders day to day. From your dashboard you track stock by status, open receiving orders, follow each order from pick to pack to label, and process returns. It is the same platform every fulfillment center in our network runs on, so the counts and statuses you work with are the live ones from the floor, never a delayed copy. You get it the moment you start fulfilling with Jetpack, and it is yours from day one.

Every order carries a live status in your dashboard. During fulfillment it sits in Processing, moving through Awaiting Pick, Pick in Process, Picked, Packed, Labeled, and Awaiting Carrier, so you know exactly where it is on the floor. After carrier handoff it moves to Shipped, with In Transit, Out for Delivery, and Delivered updates, and Delivery IQ takes over the watching from there. Anything blocked surfaces as Action Required so you can resolve it before it costs you a day.

Most shipments are fully received, counted, and ready to fulfill within about two business days of arrival, and up to four during peak periods. You can watch the whole process: every receiving order shows live status in your dashboard with email notifications at key steps, and inventory counts refresh in real time as units are put away. Boxes are inspected and counted during receiving, so discrepancies are logged and flagged immediately.

Verification is layered into every stage, anchored by frequent barcode scanning. Inbound boxes are scanned and counted against your receiving order. Through pick and pack, scans verify the item and location at each step, so a wrong unit or wrong bin is caught the moment it happens. Your product images travel with the workflow as a second check, so floor teams confirm the right item at receiving, picking, and packing. Packers verify contents against the order before sealing, and intelligent cycle counts keep shelf counts honest between shipments. The result is 99.95% pick accuracy across the network, with every inventory adjustment logged in an auditable history.

Yes. You can run your own warehouse on the same all-in-one technology and transportation platform our network runs on. That means Jetpack WMS for your day-to-day operations, the carrier rates we negotiate through Carrier IQ, and our deep partnerships with sorting facilities behind every shipment. It is the full stack we run, in your building. If you want to put it to work in your own warehouse, answer a few questions and our team will get back to you.

The report library covers warehouse receiving orders, inventory snapshot, inventory velocity, inventory replenishment, out-of-stock with exception orders, returns, and fulfillment SLA performance by warehouse. Every report reads live from the records the floor creates as it works, and you can filter and export any of them. Jetpack Pro adds a deeper layer on top: reporting across performance, carriers, costs, order volume, and more, so your operational and analytical views live in one place.
