We built the 3PL we kept wishing existed.
Jetpack 3PL is a fulfillment partner for ecommerce brands, operating 60+ fulfillment centers across the US, Canada, UK, EU, and Australia from offices in Santa Monica and Toronto. This page is the story of why we exist.
Where we started
Jetpack was formed in 2022 by three co-founders: Matt McLeod, Dave McLeod, and Kirsten Scholte. Between us, we had spent decades inside logistics, ecommerce, CPG, and product development. Which means we had also spent decades as customers of the big national 3PLs, at provider after provider, in business after business.
The pattern never changed. The floor teams were the best in the business. The carrier rates were excellent. The automation was real. And the support was dismal. Giant brands got white-glove everything. Growing brands doing a thousand or five thousand orders a month got a ticket queue, a chatbot, an outsourced support team, and a resolution that arrived days after it stopped mattering. We watched brands with real momentum get treated like rounding errors.
What we built first
We started with the thing we came to fix: the experience. We call it Jetpack Care, and it is the thing we are proudest of. It runs in your Slack channel first, with email and chat behind it. You will never go unacknowledged. More than one person on our team knows your business intimately, your product quirks, your seasonal spikes, your key objectives and risks, because handing your account to a stranger every time something breaks is exactly what we came here to end. Our working rule is simple: we find a way to say yes where others say no.
The network we chose
For the infrastructure itself, we saw no reason to reinvent what the industry already does brilliantly. We built our network around some of the best fulfillment centers in the business, in large part through a strategic partnership with ShipBob, whose floors, automation, and carrier rates set the standard the rest of the industry chases. Our brands get national-scale infrastructure and top-tier rates from day one, wrapped in everything that makes Jetpack Jetpack: our people, our Care team, our platform.
The second pillar
The other half of what we build is technology. Our platform layer drives post-shipment tools, advanced analytics, and real-time tracking of every open Jetpack Care issue, whether it started in Slack or anywhere else. The target never changes: tools that actually help the people running CPG brands manage, grow, and sleep at night.
Who we work with
Jetpack is built for ecommerce brands shipping about 1,000 orders a month and up, with the ops complexity that comes at that scale. Our brands span beauty and personal care, pets, health and wellness, hardware, apparel and accessories, and more, selling D2C, through marketplaces, and into retail.
The core team

Matt McLeod
Matt was CMO at ShipTime and co-founded Lumatone, a music technology company, before turning to the problem that wouldn't leave him alone: how brands get shipped. He runs Jetpack, and you'll still find him in customer Slack channels.

Kirsten (Kirty) Scholte
Kirty was Director of Growth at Cortex Design, a product design firm, before co-founding Jetpack, and now runs the partnerships that hold our network together. When Jetpack says yes to something unusual, odds are she found the way.

Dave McLeod
Dave spent decades inside the machinery that moves packages, as a VP at ShipTime and before that a longtime member of FedEx's senior team. He advises on operations and quality, which is a modest way of saying he knows where every process can break.

Nora Smith
Nora was Jetpack's first hire, and she came to us from the other side of the dock: she co-founded Stoic Beauty and lived the shipping experience as a customer first. She's built the Jetpack Care team from the ground up to be the most empathetic, proactive team in the 3PL space.
