Customer Success Manager, Ecommerce Brands (Canada, Remote)
Fully remote, CanadaFull-time
Jetpack is a strategic logistics partner for fast growing ecommerce companies. With a focus on unparalleled client care and next-gen technology, Jetpack provides services across two key streams:
- End-to-end global warehousing + fulfillment, and
- Final mile strategy + shipping solutions.
Jetpack is a fast-paced startup environment, and you'll be a key member of this exciting, growing team.
Role Overview
You are the person our clients lean on every day in Slack, email, or video call.
This is a senior customer success role, not junior. That means:
- You know how to build a real bond with the people you support
- You've delivered bad news before and kept the relationship intact
- You've taken a client who was ready to walk and turned them around
What Matters Most
- Energy and presence. Camera on by default and confident on video. You're relatable and know how to keep folks comfortable in a variety of circumstances.
- Writing that sounds like you. Never a canned response. Plain language, you never lean on formal phrases or jargon.
- Answers people can use. You respond to the question that was actually asked, in context, and give people something they can act on.
- The client's perspective. You read between the lines and think from their side. Your answers show you were listening and care about the outcome, not just closing the item.
- Startup instinct + critical thinking. You bring ideas, jump in on a variety of tasks, and don't wait to be asked. You want to build and aren't afraid to push against processes that aren't working anymore.
- Range. Switching between clients, platforms, and issues doesn't faze you. You have systems to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Who This Role Is Not For
Being direct here to save everyone time. This is not a general operations job or traditional logistics support role.
- Ops experience outside of CPG, ecommerce, D2C, fulfillment, or logistics is not the right fit here
- You have one standard way of writing, and you think formality equals professional
- You only know how to improve client experience by getting on the floor yourself
- You'd rather stay off camera, and a call with 3+ people on it makes you nervous
What You'll Do
- Own day-to-day support for our brands, responding in real time to issues and alerts across receiving, warehousing, fulfillment, shipping, and their customer care
- Uphold the standard for how our Care team communicates and maintains customer relationships
- Work directly with our service provider partners and internal support contacts to troubleshoot quickly and advocate for our clients
- Support the onboarding experience, from meetings between our clients and our onboarding support staff through learning the platform, receiving, fulfilling, shipping, and beyond
- Support quarterly meetings with our brands, solving issues, proposing solutions, and optimizing processes, rates, and packaging
Experience
- You've worked with or inside ecommerce, CPG, or D2C brands and you understand their world: Shopify/Amazon, inventory, order flow, retail, and managing customer shipping experiences
- You've handled escalations and de-escalations directly with clients or customers
- You're comfortable with data: reporting, spreadsheets, and pulling numbers to back up what you're telling a client
- 3PL software, WMS systems, ShipStation, and other shipping and logistics tools are a bonus, not a requirement. If you know the client side well, we can teach you ours.
The Opportunity
- Base compensation: $65,000 CAD
- Variable compensation kicks in at 6 months, effective salary $70k+, and grows as the company grows
- Fully remote position, use of your own work computers and devices expected
- Availability Monday to Friday, full-time hours, where fast response time is your first priority
- 2 weeks vacation allowance in the first year, 3 weeks every year afterwards
- A kick-ass, tight team that works hard and equally wants you to grow, professionally and personally
B2B Ecommerce Sales Consultant (Remote, Contract)
Fully remote, United StatesIndependent contractor, part-time or full-timeCommission only
Jetpack is a strategic logistics partner for fast-growing ecommerce companies. With a focus on unparalleled client care and next-gen technology, Jetpack provides services across two key streams:
- End-to-end global warehousing and fulfillment, and
- Final mile strategy and shipping solutions.
We are adding a small number of independent sales consultants across the United States. Each works their own network and their own approach. Jetpack prices, pitches alongside you where it helps, and onboards and runs every account you sign.
Role Overview
You bring ecommerce brands and 3PLs to Jetpack and work each deal to signature. The role is commission only, with no base and no cap. It is a contract position, and most consultants will do it alongside another job in the industry. It is compatible with any role that is not at another fulfillment provider.
Consultants who perform at an extraordinary level will be offered a permanent place on the Jetpack sales team, with a base.
What You'll Sell
- Fulfillment for brands shipping 1,000 or more orders a month: a 65-warehouse network, one all-in rate per order, a named care team in the client's own Slack channel, no setup fees and no locked-in terms.
- Last-mile delivery services for 3PLs and larger brands: a regional network covering 10,000+ ZIP codes, rapid 1-5 calendar day national delivery, pickup from their dock built into the rate, and no fuel, residential, delivery area or peak surcharges.
What Matters Most
- A network in ecommerce-driven consumer packaged goods, and/or the fulfillment and logistics space. You already know brands, 3PLs or warehouses that ship at this scale, and they take your calls or read your DMs.
- Sales experience in the field. Fulfillment/3PLs, freight brokerage, carrier sales, packaging, EDI or WMS software, ecommerce agencies, ecommerce brands, and fractional operations work all qualify.
- Working knowledge of how a 3PL prices and operates: picks, storage, zone-based shipping, and what last-mile injection means.
- Comfort with a two-to-three-month sales cycle and a larger, back-end payout.
- Self-direction. You set your own hours and pipeline, and you report results, not activity.
Who This Role Is Not For
- You sell for another 3PL or fulfillment provider. This is a conflict and we do not make exceptions.
- You need a base, a draw or a guarantee.
- You expect leads to be supplied. The network is your responsibility to build.
- Your sales experience is outside the logistics or ecommerce industries.
What You'll Do
- Identify and approach brands and 3PLs in your network that fit the profile above.
- Register prospects with Jetpack. Registered prospects are protected for 90 days.
- Hand off the relationship to Jetpack's internal sales team, and you can go back to hunting. If desired or helpful, you are also welcome to manage the relationship through to closing, bringing Jetpack in for rates, operational questions, demos, and executive conversations.
- No responsibility beyond closing. Onboarding, operations and client care are handled by the Jetpack team, you get to go back and focus on what you're good at: networking!
Compensation
- Commission only, uncapped. Earn a fixed percentage of each account's gross profit monthly.
- Commission is paid 30 days after the client pays.
- A real-time dashboard allows for ongoing visualization of your earnings growth.
- Expected earnings range from $50K to $200K a year, depending on the size of your book.
- Independent contractor. Consultants use their own equipment and keep their own hours.
What Jetpack Provides
- Pitch decks and rate cards, with pricing turned around within 48 hours.
- A Slack channel with the founders and the sales lead, and a weekly office hour meeting.
- Full training and support as you learn to talk about the wonder and magic of Jetpack's approach.
- Participation in client calls where rates, operations or executive involvement is needed.
