Working with Jetpack has been a game changer. Onboarding was super smooth and the ongoing support has meant I can focus on what is driving our business. I only wish I had made the leap sooner.
Frequently asked.
3PL pricing usually has four parts: storage, billed by the space you use; receiving, billed for the time it takes to check your inventory in; pick-and-pack, billed per order and per item; and shipping, billed by weight, size, and zone. What you pay depends on the provider and your volume. Jetpack's pricing strips out the fees most 3PLs pile on: no per-order processing fee, no charge for standard packaging like boxes and poly mailers, and no charge for your first pick. Then three levers pull the rate down: the combined volume of 5,000+ brands on our network, Carrier IQ routing every order to the lowest-cost carrier, and MultiHub IQ placing inventory closer to your buyers, which cuts zone-4+ shipments by up to 85% and overall costs by up to 30%.
Jetpack is generally built for brands shipping 1,000+ orders per month across all channels combined. That said, we love hearing from newer brands building something exciting. If you're early-stage and we believe in what you're building, we'll talk through what it would take to invest and grow together. Reach out for a conversation. Otherwise, crowdfunding fulfillment and startup fulfillment are good stepping stones until the volume catches up.
Jetpack partners with ecommerce brands shipping 1,000+ orders per month, large enough to benefit from multi-hub distribution, still at the growth stage where hands-on support matters most. Onboarding takes 1-2 weeks with about 4-6 hours of your time: a dedicated team connects your sales channels, configures your SKU catalog, sets shipping preferences, and positions inventory via MultiHub IQ from your historical order data. We teach you the tools, not just deliver outcomes. Switching from another 3PL? For a limited time, we're waiving receiving fees on your initial inventory transfer, and we run a structured migration: as fast as one week for D2C, four to six weeks for B2B with EDI and retail compliance cutovers. No long-term contracts.
A multi-hub warehouse network distributes inventory across multiple regional fulfillment centers, with each order shipping from the warehouse closest to the customer. Jetpack's warehouse network spans 60+ warehouses globally: 45+ across the US, 7 in Canada, 4 in the UK, 3 in the EU, 3 in Australia. MultiHub IQ uses machine learning to distribute your US inventory across the domestic warehouses based on where your customers actually order from, so each shipment travels the shortest possible distance; international hubs are replenished on a planning cadence with our team. The result: up to 3X faster transit, up to 85% fewer shipments beyond zone 4, and up to 30% lower overall fulfillment costs vs. single-warehouse setups.
Electronics fulfillment is the storage, picking, packing, and shipping of consumer electronics and accessories on behalf of a brand, across its online store, Amazon, and retailers, with the handling those products need: lithium batteries declared and labeled, fragile units boxed and cushioned, high-value parcels insured, and serial numbers tied to orders. Jetpack does this for electronics brands shipping 1,000+ orders a month, from earbuds and trackers to chargers, hubs, and smart-home devices.
Yes. Products with lithium-ion batteries up to 100Wh (cells up to 20Wh) ship with the battery declared on the SKU, the required lithium labels applied automatically on every outbound order, and the carrier paperwork handled. Battery vetting takes three to five business days during onboarding, so send the safety data sheet and UN test documentation with your product list. Two limits to plan around: battery products always ship in a box rather than a mailer, with one or two battery-powered units per order at a combined weight of up to 11 lb, and they ship by ground within the contiguous US, so no PO boxes, Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations for those SKUs. Everything else in your catalog ships normally. The same rules run our fitness fulfillment, where massage guns and wearables ship every day.
Products with lithium-ion batteries over 100Wh, which rules out e-bike and hoverboard batteries, large power-tool packs, and power stations. Preowned or refurbished electronics. Class III medical devices (Class I and II devices can be approved). And any battery product that is damaged, swollen, or recalled. If a SKU sits near one of those lines, tell us when we quote and we'll be straight about fit.
Mark a SKU as fragile in your dashboard and every order carrying it ships in a standard or custom box with extra dunnage and a layer of Geami cushioning, never in a mailer, with a per-unit fragile pack fee. For value, parcel insurance costs 1.875% of the amount you insure, up to $5,000 per parcel, and a signature is required automatically on anything insured for $300 or more. Orders you don't insure carry $100 of courtesy coverage. Insurance can't be added to orders that ship on your own prepaid labels.
Yes, by arrangement. Set a SKU to require a serial scan, with the prefix or suffix your serials share, and the warehouse scans each unit's serial number at pick. The serials appear on the order in your dashboard, so a warranty claim or a recall tells you exactly which unit went to which customer. Serial scanning is priced per number through Jetpack Care, and it isn't part of the automated Amazon FBA prep flow or of returns processing.
Every return follows the rule you set per SKU: restock, quarantine, or dispose, with up to three inspection steps that check a unit is unopened and undamaged, and a backup action if it fails. Customers can start a return or an exchange in our returns portal, or you can keep Loop, AfterShip, Redo, or Corso. One honest limit: we don't power on or test devices, so inspection is visual. See how returns work.
Yes, from the same inventory that ships your store's orders. Best Buy is an approved retailer for retail dropshipping, where we ship Best Buy's online order straight to its customer, and for retail distribution with conditions we walk through with you before you commit to a program. Retail distribution covers 150+ retailers including Target and Walmart, with EDI through SPS Commerce, GS1 labeling with SSCC codes, and retail-compliant palletizing. FBA prep runs as an automated process for US sellers, with shipments created for you. B2B and wholesale orders run through the same dashboard as your Shopify orders, so a retailer PO never means a second warehouse.
Yes. Orders in by 2PM ship the same day, 99.8% ship on time, and capacity ramps for a launch, a creator review that lands overnight, or Black Friday. Tell us the date and the forecast when you know them, and inventory gets placed across the network ahead of the day so the first wave ships from the center nearest each customer.
Most moves to a new electronics 3PL land in two to six weeks. We build the transition plan around your channels and catalog: battery approvals reviewed, fragile and serial settings configured per SKU, custom packaging received, and inventory moved on a phased or parallel plan so your current 3PL keeps shipping until you cut over. Your go-live date is set before you commit. See how switching works.
Let’s talk.
Tell us what you sell and how much of it ships a month. We’ll come back with an all-in rate and a plan.
