Frequently asked.
Yes, fully automated. Lot-tracked products are stored separately by batch, and the system ships nearest-expiration inventory first via FIFO, so customers always get the freshest product without manual oversight. Set minimum shelf life days per SKU; units below that threshold are auto-excluded from fulfillment, so no expired product reaches a customer. Full recall readiness: trace exactly which orders received a specific batch and from which fulfillment center. Returns on lot-tracked products route to quarantine or disposal rather than restock, protecting active inventory.
Jetpack offers full kitting services (assembly, de-kitting, case breakdowns) for subscription box builds, promotional bundling, sticker and label application, and custom dunnage. Custom packaging includes branded boxes, poly mailers, bubble mailers, and full-color marketing inserts printed on demand. Returns flow through our integrated RMS with up to three custom inspection steps and automated restock, quarantine, or dispose actions per your rules. All at 99.95% accuracy with same-day fulfillment for orders received by our 2PM cutoff.
3PL pricing usually has four parts: storage, billed by the space you use; receiving, billed for the time it takes to check your inventory in; pick-and-pack, billed per order and per item; and shipping, billed by weight, size, and zone. What you pay depends on the provider and your volume. Jetpack's pricing strips out the fees most 3PLs pile on: no per-order processing fee, no charge for standard packaging like boxes and poly mailers, and no charge for your first pick. Then three levers pull the rate down: the combined volume of 5,000+ brands on our network, Carrier IQ routing every order to the lowest-cost carrier, and MultiHub IQ placing inventory closer to your buyers, which cuts zone-4+ shipments by up to 85% and overall costs by up to 30%.
Jetpack is generally built for brands shipping 1,000+ orders per month across all channels combined. That said, we love hearing from newer brands building something exciting. If you're early-stage and we believe in what you're building, we'll talk through what it would take to invest and grow together. Reach out for a conversation. Otherwise, crowdfunding fulfillment and startup fulfillment are good stepping stones until the volume catches up.
Jetpack partners with ecommerce brands shipping 1,000+ orders per month, large enough to benefit from multi-hub distribution, still at the growth stage where hands-on support matters most. Onboarding takes 1-2 weeks with about 4-6 hours of your time: a dedicated team connects your sales channels, configures your SKU catalog, sets shipping preferences, and positions inventory via MultiHub IQ from your historical order data. We teach you the tools, not just deliver outcomes. Switching from another 3PL? For a limited time, we're waiving receiving fees on your initial inventory transfer, and we run a structured migration: as fast as one week for D2C, four to six weeks for B2B with EDI and retail compliance cutovers. No long-term contracts.

Supplement fulfillment is lot-controlled storage, picking, and shipping for vitamins and dietary supplements. In a 3PL that does it well, look for five things. Lot and expiry captured at receiving, not typed in later. Picking that ships the nearest expiry first and holds back anything under your minimum shelf life. Returns that are never restocked. Facilities registered and certified for the products you sell, with temperature control where a product needs it. And support that answers the same day a lot question comes up. The mechanics are the same ones that protect food and beverage fulfillment; the difference is how much a single short-dated bottle costs you with a subscriber.
Three things, reviewed during onboarding before your first pallet ships: your GMP compliance certification, an accurate ingredient disclosure for each product, and temperature control specifications if a product needs them. For nutraceutical fulfillment that review is the whole point: it's how every lot on the shelf is one we can stand behind. Send the documents with your product list when we quote and the approval runs in parallel with your transition plan.
Supplements are stored in FDA-registered fulfillment centers. GMP- and GFSI-certified, temperature-controlled facilities are available for the products that need them: tell us which SKUs when we quote and we'll place that inventory in a center that has what it requires. We don't offer refrigerated or frozen storage. Get a quote and list anything that is sensitive to heat.
Every lot is received with its expiry date and stored separately, and orders pick the nearest expiry first. You set a minimum shelf life per SKU, and units below that threshold are excluded from fulfillment automatically, so a subscriber never opens a bottle that expires next month. If a lot ever has to come off the shelf, we isolate it and trace every order that received it.
They are never restocked. Returned vitamins and supplements are disposed of when they arrive, so a bottle that left the warehouse can't ship to another customer. The return is logged in your dashboard like any other order.
Yes. Recurring orders flow in from your store like any other order and pick from the same lots as your one-time and retail orders. Orders placed by 2PM ship the same day and 99.8% ship on time, and with MultiHub IQ placing inventory near your customers, delivery runs as low as one to three days nationwide, so a refill lands before the last bottle runs out. Stacks and starter bundles are kitted in the warehouse and ship as one SKU.
Yes, from the same inventory. Retail distribution covers 150+ retailers including The Vitamin Shoppe, Target, and Walmart, with EDI through SPS Commerce, GS1 labeling with SSCC codes, and retail-compliant palletizing. B2B and wholesale orders run through the same dashboard as your Shopify orders, with the same lot and expiry rules applied, and a wholesale or retail order can specify the exact lot it ships from.
Yes. Sports nutrition runs under the same rules as every supplement: the approval review at onboarding, lot and expiry tracking, and nearest expiry shipped first. Brands that also sell gear ship both from one inventory; see fitness and sports fulfillment for the equipment side.
Most supplement and vitamin fulfillment moves land in two to six weeks. We build the transition plan around your channels and catalog: approval documents reviewed, lot products configured with their expiry dates, storage conditions confirmed, and inventory moved on a phased or parallel plan so your current 3PL keeps shipping until you cut over. Your go-live date is set before you commit. See how switching works.
Let’s talk.
Tell us what you sell and how much of it ships a month. We’ll come back with an all-in rate and a plan.
